Kilcock jockey Barry Browne enjoyed success onboard ‘Cratloe’ for trainer Michael J McDonogh in the ‘Patrickswell Handicap Hurdle’ at Limerick today.

The 3lb claimer settled Cratloe into mid-division early on, before making headway after jumping the 3rd out, travelling well and progressing on the outside to lead 2 out and keeping in well on the run-in. ‘Rich Belief’ was 2nd, with ‘Kate III Know’ back in 3rd.

Browne gave his reaction to Racing TV after the victory; “He was a bit keen down over the first few and I took him back to get him settled. He will make a fine chaser and being big, would want it much quicker than that.”
