From Courtown Road to Cortown County Meath – Davy Dalton

Former Kilcock and Kildare Gaa star Davy Dalton has taken over the reins at Cortown Gaa in County Meath for the 2021 season.

Dalton, who grew up on Courtown Road, Kilcock takes over at the North Meath club after stepping down from his position as Joint manager of the Intermediate footballers of Summerhill LGFA, a position he held with great pride for a few years.

Cortown made the announcement on their Twitter page this evening; “Cortown are thrilled to officially announce the arrival of Davy Dalton as Senior team manager. Dalton, a former All-Star full back with his native Kildare, will hope to help Cortown get back to winning ways in 2021 after a disappointing 2020”

Cortown ply their trade in the Meath Junior Football Championship, with Davy Rispin of ‘We Are Meath’ fame amongst their ranks.
