Kilcock Celtic u15s starting 11 v Kilcullen

Striker Adam Thompson struck a brace of goals in Kilcock Celtic U-15s 2-1 semi-final victory over Kilcullen AFC on Thursday night last, firing his side into the shield final in the process.

Thompson’s goals (one from the penalty spot and one from a close-range freekick) were the only difference between two evenly matched teams in the end, in what proved to be an enthralling game throughout, played in a lovely late evening sun.

The Celtics now go on to face neighbours Prosperous in the final at the Toughers Pitches, with a date and time yet to be confirmed.

All the management and players urge the people of Kilcock to show their support when the final date is set.
